What is the mechanism of sequencing library construction using the SMART-Seq® Stranded Kit?

The workflow of the SMART-Seq® Stranded Kit compatible with 10pg-10ng total mammalian RNA or 1-1,000 whole intact cells, utilizes a random priming for the first-strand cDNA synthesis and incorporates the removal of rRNA sequences, generating Illumina-ready library representing coding and non-coding RNAs with strand informationSMART-Seq Stranded [...]

Why does DEF-CS 500 Xeno-Free Culture Medium product contain 2 additives, while the standard DEF-CS 500 Culture System product contains 3? Are any of the additives the same between the 2 products?

Why does DEF-CS 500 Xeno-Free Culture Medium product contain 2 additives, while the standard DEF-CS 500 Culture System product contains 3? Are any of the additives the same between the 2 products?

This is due to the formulations of the basal media, Cellartis DEF-CS 500 Xeno-Free Culture Medium only requires one additive for maintenance and two for passage/thawing, whereas DEF-CS 500 Culture System requires one more at both stages. For your information (confidential information), both two additives/components in the xeno free version are used in DEF-CS 500 Culture System, but prepared free [...]

What is the freeze/thaw stability of the DEF-CS 500 Basal Media and Additives (can they undergo multiple freeze thaw cycles)?

What is the freeze/thaw stability of the DEF-CS 500 Basal Media and Additives (can they undergo multiple freeze thaw cycles)?

From the protocol, it would appear that the customer cannot perform multiple freeze/thaws of any of the components. Is this the case?" "Yes, the DEF-CS 500 Basal Media and COAT-1 should not be frozen. The additives can be thawed, aliquoted into appropriate volumes and refrozen. Once thawed these should be used within one week. Do you know why the customer asks? To short tenability/validity (I [...]
