What is the role of Tli RNase H in qPCR reaction?
Tli RNase is a thermostable RNase H enzyme that allows to completely remove RNA in RNA/DNA duplexes that form after the first-strand cDNA synthesis. This exposes primer binding sites, especially GC-rich regions of cDNA more efficiently to PCR primers. The Tli RNase reduces template complexity by RNA degradation and cuts extension time.
