What is the freeze/thaw stability of the DEF-CS 500 Basal Media and Additives (can they undergo multiple freeze thaw cycles)?
From the protocol, it would appear that the customer cannot perform multiple freeze/thaws of any of the components. Is this the case?" "Yes, the DEF-CS 500 Basal Media and COAT-1 should not be frozen. The additives can be thawed, aliquoted into appropriate volumes and refrozen. Once thawed these should be used within one week. Do you know why the customer asks? To short tenability/validity (I don’t know the correct term to describe the period before the product expires?)?
