Can I use first-strand cDNA for the PicoPLEX WGA kit to generate more amplified cDNA?
The PicoPLEX WGA kits cannot be used directly for NGS as the amplified library doesn’t contain primer binding sites for Illumina sequencing.
If customers already generated library with the PicoPLEX WGA kit, they can continue using one of the following two approaches -
1. PicoPLEX WGA -> Nextera or Nextera XT or
2. PicoPLEX WGA -> mechanical fragmentation -> ThruPLEX DNA-seq (or any whole genome NGS library prep).
