Is it OK to store the library after the Pre-Amplification step with the PicoPLEX kits, prior to the PCR Amplifications step?
The Pre-amplified DNA can be stored at 4 degrees overnight or up to 2 weeks at – 20 degrees. However, it is a good practice to complete the entire protocol including the PCR amplifications step as the DNA yield is extremely low after the Pre-Amplification step and there is a risk of losing some DNA during storage.
The amplified WGA is more stable at -20 degrees for several months if stored after cleaning it up.
