What is the recommended sequencing depth for detecting CNV?
PicoPLEX is the best technology for CNV (copy number variant) detection. The resolution of the CNV detection for PicoPLEX DNA-Seq is about 5 – 10 MB. At this level of binning, any aneuploidy in the genome will be detectable. The PicoPLEX GOLD DNA-seq kit has much better resolution (100 – 300 Kb) of CNV detection and much more uniform coverage.
